Rob da Bank: 'me and Russ's paths have crossed a myriad of times since the 90s when Russ was instrumental in setting up legendary Scottish club Pure and i was a young music journo. Fast forward 3 decades and i was lucky enough to be asked to curate Sundays at Pikes with my Sunday Best club. Russ quickly became the dependable resident who'd just as happily step off a morning flight and play a stunning 4 hour ambient soundscape or be found 12 hours later jacking out underground house in Freddies.Always a faultless selection and crafted with excellence.Russ says of this mix he's made for us: 'I always push for the nextness. I want to play what others may find daunting or fear their audience may not grasp. This mix contains modern flamenco, (I live in Ibiza), music that currently interests me (obviously) and some of my own, recent productions.
