This first show of Música Dispersa at Slacks begins with the amazing electromagnetic sounds of Polifeme, then follows two sound art pieces created by Música Dispersa: first, Voices of Women, with spoken word, sounds and imagery of women’s resistance throughout the 20th century; the second piece is A Future That Never Been, a homage to sci-fi and the future I was thinking as a kid I would see but didn’t happen. All mixed, manipulated and created by Roberto Vilela (Música Dispersa, Surreal Pneuma).
