Africa Sessions Volume 1: Sofala Nights. In addition to my monthly progressive house sessions, I plan on highlighting other genres that also feed into my mutated progressive sets. So expect an afro house set, a deep house set, a breaks set, and a techno set once or twice each per year, separate from the progressive sets.
Additionally, each Africa session will be named after a place I have travelled to, or a place someone who I have worked with has travelled to or is from. This session is for Sofala, a city within Sofala Province, Mozambique. Four years ago I volunteered to go there to do disaster response work and cleanup in the wake of natural disasters. Please look into Sofala (both the city and the province) on wikipedia or another resource.... but also, enjoy the mix!
