Scientific Sound Asia Podcast 121 is Niko Power and Bafode with their first guest Mix. Niko Power is a self-taught musician and percussionist with instrumental music influences from West Africa and Brazil, vinyl collector and DJ in his spare time. He started his DJ sessions with Jamaican music (selecta reggae/dancehall), over the years he gravitated towards electronic music by playing a lot of mashups, remixes and re-edits inspired by many producers and DJs.
Multi-instrumentalist Bafode draws his energy and inspiration from a colourful musical niche. He sharpens his style by confronting the multiple currents and style emanating from Black Music. Mainly inhabited by the glorious 70s. Musical chameleon he fuses several styles for the happiness of our ears!
