Description
With this show we look back to the beginnings of disco. Disco music emerged in the United States during the early 1970s, evolving from a blend of various musical styles, including funk, soul, and pop. The genre was heavily influenced by the vibrant nightlife and dance culture of urban centers, particularly in cities like New York and Philadelphia. Some of the songs can be heard in the Tom Moulton Mix which was usually created a little after the original release. I recommend listening to the song “Bingo” by The Whispers. What an outstanding early disco song that has been completely forgotten. Enjoy and dance if you want.
