The Best Of: GRP, ARISTA GRP (Grusin-Rosen Productions) - Producers Special Part21

This is my Produces Special Part 21 and also a Label Special. Dave Grusin and Larry Rosen have produced a lot of young jazz artists together since the early seventies. So it was only logical that they founded their own label GRP (Grusin-Rosen Productions) in 1973 with the mission to make extraordinary jazz musicians more accessible for the mainstream music audience. In 1978, in a partnership with Arista Records, they founded the record label Arista GRP. GRP Records was nominated for eighty Grammy Awards, winning thirty-three.
