A few months ago, a friend brought me some rare soul pearls that have been lying around and have received little attention from me. When listening again, I discovered real gems that I have now put together for you. Rare soul is now a collective term for all genres of soul culture from Northern Soul, Two Step, Deep Soul to Modern Soul. Most of my selection is very rare and was mostly only released on 7 inch.
A side note: when I heard "The Invitations" I immediately noticed the distinctive voice of Lew Kirton. One of the greatest vocalist and rightly called "The Voice" .
