Soul To Soul - Philly Soul Underrated Gems (Sweet & Uptempo Soul)

To quote The Finishing Touch "Second Best (Is Never Enough)" I want to prove to you that this statement is not true. 😉 I've put together a few songs and groups for you that come from the second tier of the Philly area (except for a very few), but who have nevertheless recorded beautiful songs. There's also some of the finest Philly soul from artists who weren't signed to TSOP or its sublabels, but rather to Atlantic Records or Buddah, for example. These songs, however, were produced by the masterminds of the Philly sound, such as Thom Bell, Tony Bell, Bunny Sigler, BHY, Phil Hurtt and Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff. I hope you enjoy the good Philly sound, even with less frequently heard songs outside of the million-sellers.
