I created this mix around the "Love Me Today" from First Love. taken from my Rams Horn 12inch B-Side of Don't Say Goodnight from 1981, original released 1980 on Dakar Records.
First Love - should become famous later with the Boogie Monster "It's A Mistery To Me" in 1982 and The Longplayer "Love At The First Sight".All these First Love Tracks produced by Donald Leetharry Burnside. I picked two other tracks of his songs in this mix. The Great "Since You've Been Gone" from Elaine & Ellen, and the Killer "Super Sporm" from Captain Sky (Jazz Funk and Disco - all in one).Donald Burnside produced also the favorite of many Boogie Fans Yvonne Gage – Garden Of Eve in 1981.Later in the mix - Starvue with "Body Fusion" - melting Groove and wonderful String Arrangement.Charles Earland - what can I say ?
