This is part 11 of my series "Producers Special". Midnight Star was formed in Kentucky and moved to Los Angeles and sign on Solar Records. The creative minds behind Midnight Star were the brothers Reggie & Vincent Calloway. Her third studio album "Victory" was her first own production. They are producing 3 more albums by Midnight Star before the two left the band in 1988. For Solar Records they produced in the meantime more contracted artists and It was followed also by well-known interpreters of other labels. They achieved some gold and platinum awards. This is an short insight into her work of the 1980s.
