That's my tribute for a living legend. One of the most talented composers. Rodney Lynn "Rod" Temperton - Born Oct 15 1947 in Cleethorpes England.
He was founding member of the british funk band heatwave. In this time quincy jones noticed him and his talent as songwriter.He took him to Los Angeles, and working with him for his own productions. He wrote some title for the Michael Jackson albums "Off The Wall" and "Thriller". So it is no wonder that in this mix are 11 and half tracks produced by Quincy Jones. It is therefore also a half Quincy Jones tribute. Rod Temperton was nominated for an Oscar for a song on the soundtrack of the film "The Color Purple" by Steven Spielberg.
