New York is not only a melting pot of cultures, but it's also a melting pot of music styles. So I decided to combine some music styles. The mix includes some soulful sounds, jazz, old school rap and a lot of disco. I selected some artists and bands directly from New York with the typical New York sound, but also many artists who are just thematically about new york. It was not so easy to get everything under one hat. It reflects just my personal feeling which I have of new york.
