It's no secret - I love the Philly Sound. In 2016, I already created a show on this topic. In those days I chose only tracks from the label Philadelphia International Records and the Sublabels TSOP and Golden Fleece. This time I'm going one step further. Besides Gamble & Huff, there were other first-class producers and songwriters. For example Ron Baker, Norman Harris and Earl Young aka B-H-Y. You will also find Thom Bell in my set. All these wonderful tracks were recorded at the Sigma Sound Studio in Philadelphia. Probably the best studio in the world back then. The sound of the recordings was unique at that time. Listen to the result when the best studio musicians and the best recording studio get together.
