Manila Sounds - 70s & 80s Moods And Grooves From The Philippines

A new entry in my "Countries" series with some stuff from only one particular country. This time it's about the sound of filippo artists and productions from the 70s and 80s. The USA's years of control are also reflected in the sound. This one is very American-oriented. That's why my selection of songs mostly consists of soul, disco, jazz and yacht rock. Most of the songs were recorded in the capital Manila and there are some real gems among them. If you want, you are welcome to take a musical journey with me into the seventies and eighties of the South Asian country. Have fun!
