My plan was as follows: At first there is the original version and then a cover version. Condition should be that both should temporal not be very far apart. This is how my imaginary song battle comes about. In some cases there were a lot of cover versions in a short time. I have then selected my favorite. I think so there is something for everyone. Some will be surprised that their favorite song is actually a cover version, others will be surprised what good cover versions there are. The advantage is, you can compare it directly.
