This set contains tracks from the legendary Hip Hop Label founded by Sylvia Robinson and her husband Joe in 1979. But there was more than just old school hip hop on this label. I checked out the funky and soulful side of the label and put these tracks together for you. I'm sure there won't be another Sugar Hill Records show on Mixcloud without a single rap song.
