I have mentioned this in the past - the second album "Stone By Stone" by Ikebe Shakedown is for me a brilliant example for cinematic soul. Ikebe Shakedown bring the primal elements of ’70s soul, raw funk, and cinematic Western soundtracks together with a relentless groove and soaring melodies straight from Brooklyn New York. For me the best of her altogether 3 albums. Absolutely amazing!
