Capitol Records - Black Pearls & Soulful Gems

It's time again for another label that is worth taking a closer look at. I got the idea when I had my EMI CD series of Capitol Classic Albums in my hands again. I've selected some of my favorite songs that have been released on capitol. But my selection are more about the soul and soulful side of the label in the seventies and early eighties. After all, such well-known performers as The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra and The Beatles were under contrac.
