Check out part 20 of my series with the sounds between Blue Eyed Soul, Yacht Rock, soft AOR, and Pop with a splash of jazz, direct from the westcoast but also from around the world. In my set you can hear the wonderful track "Skinnydippin '" by Cheryl Ladd. Taken from her self titled debut album from 1978 She was one of the angels in the American television series "Charlie's Angels" (1976-1981). Between 1978 and 1981 she released a total of 3 studio albums. The beginning track comes from Burt Bacharach, one of the most famous songwriters of all time. This amazing instrumental is taken from the Original Movie Soundtrack "Night Shift", exactly like Al Jarreau's track that cannot be found on any of his albums. A real yacht rock gem.
