40th Anniversary: Michael Jackson's Thriller - The Musicians Behind The Recordings

40 years ago today, on November 30, 1982, Michael Jackson's album Thriller was released. The best-selling album in music history to date. On this occasion I'll take a look behind the scenes. It's worth it as a number of first class musicians were involved in the recording. The prerequisite for the selected musicians was that they had published something themselves in the eighties. So of course there was no room for everyone who worked on it because of course there were also many studio musicians involved who didn't release anything themselves. Additionally I added 3 Michael Jackson songs to the cloudcast that just didn't make it onto the album.
