1981 - Funk Favorites And Essentials!

Some time ago I compiled the best funk songs from what was probably the best year for 80s funk (1982). The year before that could also be described as one of the best years for this music. I like the balanced combination of real instruments and the analog sythies and moogs.

This show is definitely worth listening to loudly, so send the neighbors away and turn the volume up really loud. Fun fact. About 20 years ago, the song "If You're In Need Of Love" by Con Funk Shun played over and over again in my old BMW. Until it destroyed my car speakers. The membrane was torn because the song has such a nasty bass. So be careful ;)
