My previous HISTORY OF ROCK show for River Dee Radio featured Slide Guitar players and I indicated then that there might be a future show highlighting the talents of one of them – and this is that promise fulfilled. “SNEAKY” PETE KLEINOW garnered a reputation as the foremost pedal steel guitarist in rock music in the 1970’s, as a member of the Flying Burrito Brothers and on sessions with Joe Cocker, the Byrds, Joni Mitchell, John Lennon, Fleetwood Mac and many others. I play 15 tracks on which Pete’s pedal steel is prominent.
