The theme for my new HISTORY OF ROCK show for River Dee Radio is FLUTES – it’s the 15th time I’ve featured specific instruments used by rock and pop musicians. The 1960’s and 1970’s were eras when Flutes, previously used mostly in orchestral performances, came to the fore in popular music, particularly Prog Rock.
