Music – particularly blues and folk – has often been associated with travelling people – particularly in North America. Think of boxcars, kings of the road etc. Woody Guthrie and Seasick Steve are classic examples and both feature in my show along with 14 other acts who recorded songs based on the genre of the traveller.
