Hard to believe but it’s 70 years ago this week that Elvis released the groundbreaking HEARTBREAK HOTEL – his first number one. To commemorate the occasion in my next themed show for River Dee Radio I take a trawl through ELVIS’ JUKEBOX which contained over 250 singles. Let me talk you through some of the highlights – I play excerpts and full tracks from over 40 of them – from recordings as early as 1945 all the way through to 1967.
