The first in a new series of largely behind-the-scenes songwriters whose primary interest was composition rather than performance. We start with that legend of the blues, Willie Dixon, who wrote the songs that made stars of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and, subsequently, the British groups that found fame in the 60's and 70's. We play 13 great covers from a wide variety of performers in this tribute in the week of the 28th anniversary of his passing.
