One of the inspirations for my own HISTORY OF ROCK themed radio show was none other than Bob Dylan, who, back in 2006 started his Themed Time Radio Hour which BBC Radio 2 aired. Dylan made 100 shows then retired the show in 2009, before resurrecting the idea for a one-of show in September 2020. The theme then was WHISK(e)Y so I’ve now come up with my own selection of tracks on the same theme on the 5th anniversary of Dylan’s last broadcast, with the occasional intervention from the great man himself.
