Emerging in the late 1950’s, the New York building became a huge creative hub, gathering together songwriters, publishers, musicians and radio promoters.The genre dominated pop music – particularly in USA – from the time immediately prior to Elvis enlisting in the army until the “British Invasion” of the mid-60’s.
