Born from the late ’80s rave explosion, my DJ journey began with Scott / Red One (RAM), driven by a love for Old Skool Hardcore, Acid House, Jungle and Drum & Bass. In 1994, a backstage chat with Liftin’ Spirits legend Ant Miles led to studio sessions in Hornchurch and the creation of Higher Sense, one of several collaborations with the Cyndicut DJs. Our track Cold Fresh Air became a scene anthem and opened the door to releases on Moving Shadow. Other Liftin’ Spirits tracks included Cup A Char and What Is Going On. Later, Rhythm continued the journey, teaming up with Red One for projects on Splash Recordings (Solar Nine) and Inverse Records, keeping the early rave spirit alive.
