A weekly show hosted by urbanist Donald Hyslop. This week's guest is Adama Nyama Bah, founder of the Women's Health Advocacy Network which she established to help those traumatised by sexual abuse, empowering and supporting them. The network also has a mission to educate and inform the public of these, often hidden, issues. Adama was inspired to set up the Network based on her own experiences as a child growing up in Sierra Leone during a time of war and upheaval. Her powerful and frank testimony of those years contains some details of FGM and sexual abuse.
