Polemic, politics, mouth jazz and spontaneous music with Ben Watson. This week's special guest is trumpeter Pete Robson, one of the convenors of the monthly Lo-Fi improv sessions at Longfield Hall in Camberwell, where the edicts of John Stevens and Pauline Oliveros are taken seriously (and humorously). Pete's improv CV goes back to the London Musicians' Collective of the '80s (and so to the origins of Resonance FM itself). Out To Lunch will be there on acoustic guitar, piano, mouthnoise and surprise sonic remnants, but who knows which illustrious AMM All-Stars will show? The programme as ever is unpredictable, improvised and risky, but the focus on what you hear remains absolute.
