Rio: An Outsider, Inside - by Tullis Rennie. A composed interweaving of field recordings, memories and music collected during April and May 2014, which were spent living in Rio de Janeiro and working in the Complexo da Maré favela, giving an outsider's perspective from deep inside the city. Tullis Rennie is a composer, electronic musician, trombonist, field-recordist, improviser and DJ. He is a PhD researcher in Composition at the Sonic Arts Research Centre, Queens University Belfast.
