Clear Spot - 22 September 2025 (Mirror Lamp Press #11)

Bottom of the Pot: a special audio edition of Mirror Lamp Press Issue 11, which looks at food at the bottom of the pot. Across essays, stories, artworks and comics, the contributors trace the ways eating is bound up with identity, memory and the search for belonging. The issue features writing by Anu Lakhan, Sian Conway, Stephen Brandes, El Reid-Buckley, Theo Hynan-Ratcliffe, and Bojana Janković; a graphic essay by Mads Horwath and Nandal Seo; and artwork by Snack Witch Joni Cheung. To accompany the launch, this audio edition gathers sound pieces, songs, excerpts and clips selected or created by the editors and contributors. It also premieres a newly commissioned sound work by Isadora Epstein and Stéphane Béna Hanly.
