Sonic Spheres: a conversation and event around spherical loudspeakers. Composers, sound artists and researchers Emma Margetson, Angela McArthur and Aaron Einbond share their creative approaches to spherical loudspeakers and introduce a unique event they will host on 9th May at Woolwich Works. Today they discuss how spherical loudspeaker arrays can bring audiences into an extraordinary encounter with sound in space – a world where listening becomes physical, spatial and deeply embodied. The event Sonic Spheres will transform Woolwich Works into a living, resonant environment where multiple spherical loudspeaker arrays animate the space with immersive 3D sound.
