This week: the National Pensioners Convention shares the latest figures for cold weather deaths, describing them as "tragic and shameful" when 2,500 people died in England last winter because of freezing temperatures. This was also when the winter fuel payment had been cut from all pensioners except for those on the means-tested top-up, Pension Credit.
