This week: England-based charity, Independent Age, reminds you of ways to increase your income in making sure you are getting your rightful entitlements by using their benefits calculator. The charity also reacts to the Scottish Government's recent Budget calling it disappointing to see nothing new to address the growing number of older people in poverty. Age UK highlights 1.9 million older people are living in poverty with 300,000 extra pensioners living in poverty compared to 2012, and yet older people are missing out on £3 billion in welfare benefits.
