Calling All Pensioners - 15 September 2025 (Fears State Pension Age Will Rise To 70)

This week: the National Pensioners Convention (NPC) reports that the government’s review of the state pension age has revived fears they may give in to pressure to raise it to 70 and is urging those concerned to submit evidence to a public consultation. The NPC also questions whether the government’s 10 Year Health Plan is fit for purpose. Plus, Independent Age, reports on its work to push the UK Government to give older people better support with their water bills.
