Description
Be prepared for 70 mins of fast Caribbean carnival party beats at 155BPM, it's time for 'Bouyon'! Bouyon is a kind of soca music from the Lesser Antilles island of Dominica, which originated in the late 80s. Also, 'bouyon' is creole for the French word 'bouillon', which means 'stock' or 'soup', a metaphor for this sound which is a blend of different local (Carribean) styles as a real musical 'soup'. A recent new substyle of the last 3 years is called 'hardcore', or 'bouyon gwada' as its Guadeloupean equivalent, which contains raw, often explicit sexual or violent lyrics in English, French or Creole on heavy percussive riddims while melodies sound cheap, simplified and stripped down as digital club music. Succesful riddims often have different versions in true reggae dancehall style. The dance moves are similar to twerk, mapouka, popozuda, a mix of booty shaking and adult sex position dance. Selected & Mixed by Sebcat & Leblanc. Download here > https://www.mediafire.com/?2yid4rl3xb20kfh
