This month's show (April 2020) is done in quarantine as a big 2 hour mixtape with 10(!) albums of the month. Starting with a psychedelic oriental tune (Batov Records), followed by Hailu Mergia ‘Yene Mircha’ (Awesome Tapes From Africa). Argentinian outsider folk band Los Siquicos Literalenos (Hive Mind Records), followed by reissue of Peruvian Amazonian cumbia band Ranil Y Su Conjunto (Analog Africa). Uzelli Electro Saz compilation with Turkish immigrant psych folk from 70’s & 80’s, followed by contemporary northern Greek folk album by Evritiki Zygia (Teranga Beat), Master Musicians of Jajouka & Bachir Attar vinyl reissue (Zehra) and compilation Codex Futura Vol.1 (Samain Music) with electronic folk music from Spain & Portugal. New El Buho album ‘Ramas’ (Wonderwheel) and ending the show in oriental rave via French duo Ko Shin Moon (Leila Nova) on Akuphone and Palestinian duo Zenobia (Halak Halak) on Crammed Discs.
