Rebel Up Nightshop #7: Frikstailers, Sofrito, Meridian Brothers, King Ayisoba, Kwaito House & more

Ayoba! our 7th radio show (Summer 2014) , as broadcasted on Radio Campus Bxl during July & August and from now on also streamed on Groovalizacion Radio! We start with 2 Argentinian songs of the day; new song by Chancha Via Circuito and song of the latest album of the duo Frikstailers. We focus on the international London/Parisian label Sofrito that releases vinyls of vintage & folkloric latino and african styles in remixed format and edits. Our albums of the month are Meridian Brothers with 'Salvadora Robot' (on Soundway Records) & King Ayisoba 'Wicked Leaders' (on Makkum Records). Our global style focus is Kwaito House, which is the rough edged black house music from South Africa, mostly from the Durban scene. We dive into another Rebel Up! Soundclash freestyle mix of global sounds with some Brazilian bass, kuduro, digital latino, afrohouse and more.
