Rebel Up Nightshop #57: Sofiane Saidi & Mazalda, Praed, Alizarina & Vadé, Derya Yildirim & more

Brand new Nightshop show #57, broadcasted during January 2019 on Radio Campus Bxl and streamed via Groovalizacion Radio. 2 songs of the day; a powerful Franco rework by contemporary Kinshasa band KO Jazz from a new 7inch on Planet Ilunga label and the new 7inch single of Derya Yildirim & Grup Simsek with a psychedelic Turkish folks song . We got 3 albums of the month to start the year with: the new album ‘El Ndjoum’ by Sofiane Saida & Mazalda on Airfono label, psychedelic Raï and Algerian rock with a serious groove. More contemporary arabic music with experimental electro chaabi sounds on the new album ‘Doomsday Surival Kit’ by Lebanese duo Praed on the Akuphone label. Also the EP ‘Bulgarian Spirit’ by Alizarina & female choir Vadé and a live interview with Alizarina as our special guest, talking about the making of all songs and their context.
