Our albums of the month are by tuareg singer Fadimoutou Wallet Inamoud with 'Isswat' (Sahel Sounds) and the superb electronic compilation Kafundó Vol. 2; Roots and Bass Music from Brazil (Kafundo/Dutty Artz). Our global style focus is on Cambodian Khmer Pop music from before 1975, before the Khmer Rouge took power and brought the artistic and youth culture of Cambodia to a firm halt.
