Nightshop show #99 October via Radio Campus Bxl with +3 hours of new global sounds, also broadcasted via Rhythm Passport & Groovalizacion Radio. Our songs of the day are by Ustad Noor Bakhsh (Pakistan), Grupo Pilon (Cabo Verde/Luxemburg) and Mat El Said (France). Our albums of the month begin with Vieux Farka Touré & Khruangbin, Malian guitar meeting American guitar funk, British Nigerian spiritual groove jazz band Kokoroko, Isaac Birituro & The Rail Abandon and their Ghanaian British funk. Continuing with a funky disco EP by David Walters, Haitian musician Wesli in twoubadou & vodoun rara style, Colombian marimba pacifico group Ruca Y El Quinde de Barbacoas and psychedelic roma music by Ansamble Mileta Petrovica from Serbia. Ending the show with album by 80’s Kurdish singer Salar Salman, an electronic walking trip album by Japanese DJ Ground and a downtempo electronic jazz album by Barrio Lindo.
