Nightshop show #97 for July & August via Radio Campus Bxl with +3 hours of new global sounds, also broadcasted via Rhythm Passport & Groovalizacion Radio. Our songs of the day are by Derya Yildirim & Grup Simsek in turkish folk grooves and Tremor & Micaela Chauque in argentinian andino vibe. Our albums of the month begin with percussive funk from Guadeloupe by Magic Malik, 2LP of Colombian gaita cumbia & porro by Lucho Bermudez, babatoni music from Malawi by Madalitso Band, beja folkfunk of Sudan by Noori & His Dorpa Band and Malian folkrock vibes by Rokia Koné & Jacknife Lee. We continue with electro jazz vibes by duo Anteloper via International Anthem, indian raga electronics by Auntie Flo & Sarathy Korwar, a turkish-greek electronic EP by Ko Shin Moon, El Buho’s organica sounds inspired by nature, Vanyfox bass from Lisboa, Chouk Bwa & The Angstromers and their Congo club drumming and Jako Maron from Reunion and his maloya bass.
