Nightshop show for March! 2 songs of the day, via Ghana to the Netherlands. Albums of the month with Belgian jazz quintet Aleph Quintet and their compositions of sufi & gnawa music, Brussels based Italo-Congolese artist Laryssa Kim and her experimental ambient spiritual love songs, Natascha Rogers with spiritual folk sounds from Cuba & Brazil and Aziza Brahim from Western Sahara and her deep desert blues. Kurdish-Syrian artist Mohammad Syfkhan and his uptempo Kurdish love songs, Brazilian group Luizinho do Jeje and their spiritual Candomblé songs about the Orixas, Colombian group De Mar Y Rio who bring pacific marimba folks songs with social messages. Closing in electronic vibes with French-Colombian artist Eda Diaz who merges fresh electropop with Colombian styles and rhythms, Congolese group Ngwaka Son Systeme from Kinshasa and their bouncy electronic DIY sound and ending with Palestinian producer Muqata'a and his layered electronic compositions.
