Nightshop for June is here, starting with a Wodaabe tune from Niger and a new jazz cut by Alabaster DePlume. We have 11 albums of the month, Brazilian Belgian jazz & funk duo Tapioca, followed by the political Nigerian afrobeat of Bantu, the strong township funk by South African band BCUC and the eclectic bouncy jazz by Belgian trio Dishwasher. Indian & German duo MD Pallavi & Andi Otto bring organica into soft electronic sounds and southern Indian singing, while Biomigrant & El Monte Adentro bring an ode to the Mexican son jarocho in electronic vibe, followed by the experimental cumbia by Colombian duo Los Mohanes. To end in electronic vibes, Tunisian producers Pekodjinn and Khalil Epi both deliver strong bass tunes with electro folklore, Congolese producer DJ Finale unleashes his rapid beats and a global electronic compilation by Belgian-Polish label Huveshta Rituals.
