Sampa the Great is a Zambian-born, Botswana-raised artist currently living in Melbourne. RadioActive's Kedron Parker had a chance to catch up with her at Womad 2023, where they discussed three songs spanning her career thus far.

These include F. E. M. A. L. E. from 2015's The Great Mixtape, Mwana from her 2019 album The Return, and Sampa's latest single Let Me Be Great from 2022's So Above, So Below, featuring a brilliant collaboration with Angelique Kidjo.
