Floatstone's real name is Brick de Bois, and he choose the name Floatstone because of the contradictory translation of his own name "stone of wood"......but I can assure you there is nothing wooden about this man's lyrics nor musical ability. He has spent years honing his musical talent and although no longer in the flush of youth, any young discernible listener can hear that he is as musically gifted as the heartthrobs on the singer-songwriter circuit today.
Noreen Donovan speaks with Floatstone about his music, the inspirations for his lyrics, his trip to America, his eco-aware beliefs and of course his Cro-Funding request to help finance the realease of his second album.
