Behçet's disease is almost unknown by public opinion and by the doctors themselves. For this reason, one of the main objectives of the conference is to sensitize the general population and the group of professionals, seeking the development of better care that also allows for a faster and more accurate diagnosis.
What is Behçet? Behçet's disease is a chronic multisystemic pathology of unknown cause, characterized by a recurrent course, which evolves into outbreaks and inflammatory compromise of the blood vessels. That is, there is an inflammation of the blood vessels caused by a malfunction of the immune system.
