There is a heavy focus on recordings made in Africa in the first half of the 20th century, But you can also expect to hear many recordings from South East Asia, Central Asia, the Balkans, and more. About 20 per cent of recorded material on this program comes from original 78 rpm shellack records so you can expect to hear some material that is very obscure indeed.
